OK so I was going to post about this a while ago, then forgot, then saw this article earlier http://www.polygon.com/2014/1/21/5332790/ea-pays-youtubers-to-feature-battlefield-4-need-for-speed-rivals and suddenly remembered it
So pretty much anyone with a brain looking at some of the video descriptions of the guys' videos for Battlefield 4 or Need For Speed will realise the video was most likely sponsored (because of the PR spiel at the bottom which I've never seen on other videos), and I see no problem with sponsored videos but am I the only one who maybe wants it to be made really explicitly clear when a video is sponsored or not?
I really don't mind it when YouTubers are paid for videos since that's money they can then put back into making videos, but I don't think it sits right with me when it's done in a way that you could be forgiven for not realising it's sponsored like these videos (I've seen other YouTubers who will have an ad at the end of the video but put up a warning just before it saying if you're someone who's just going to complain about the ad in the comments, then stop watching)
