Officially diagnosed w/ Hash today, also getting biopsy- what to expect?
Post Body

My story so far.

Fertility issues & high prolactin level prompted gyno & PCP to push for MRI and pelvic ultrasound. Found a Prolactinoma measuring 4mm and one 1cm ovarian cyst. Also incidental findings of low lying cerebral tonsils and bilateral maxillary sinus cysts. Referred to endocrinologist.

Endocrinologist tested pituitary hormone levels and says the others are normal and prolactin is not “that high” for its size, will leave & monitor it.

Thyroid ultrasound shows one solid hypoechoic nodule measuring 2cm. Scheduled for biopsy.

Meanwhile PCOS (testosterone) came back negative. Cushings came back negative. “Thyroid is function normally” but hashimotos antibodies present. Levothyroxine script ordered (I’ll pick up soon).

My symptoms I’ve had on and off for years and just pushed off as nothing. But have progressively either gotten worse or more noticeable. The worst of which is brain fog. I feel like an absolute idiot most days. Also experience: depression, anxiety, dry hair (think but no loss yet), dry skin (fixed with dermasil), fatigue, arthritis flare ups, goiter, acid reflux (no gallbladder, take script), hands and toes often cold/blue, heavy periods, mood swings/irritability, occasional sore throat.

TLDR

Does everyone experience hair loss? When did you experience it? (Pre meds, post meds)

I feel like “suspicious” things are popping up all over my body now... anyone else have nodules or cysts elsewhere?

Any tips on helping with fatigue and brain fog? Just want to feel normal.
