Post Body

I’m 21f and thyroid disorders run in my family. My mom and grandma have hypothyroid and my female cousin on my dads side has Hashimotos. I got tested last week and my TPO was 11.9 iu/ml. Everything else normal. My doctor basically diagnosed me with hashimotos but I can’t tell if I have symptoms or not. She said it’s not a cause for concern at the minute because my TPO isn’t that high. I plan on getting blood work done often so I can keep an eye on it. Is it normal to be diagnosed even tho my TPO wasn’t that high?
