I had thyroid cancer and hashimoto. Why don’t doctors listen to how we feel and just go by numbers?
Post Body

I’m at 1.43 for TSH but thing is even when I had a thyroid and was at my sickest, my levels were “normal.” So I went undiagnosed for awhile. No one even knew how bad it was until they went in there for surgery. My doctors say 1.43 is great. But I don’t feel great! When I was over medicated and my TSH was .05, I had heart issues. So I definitely don’t want to go there again. But why can’t they shoot for something on the lower side of normal for me? Why won’t they listen to me…?
