So I was watching this YouTube shorts video, talking about arms attack on Titan, and it was talking about how the people from Marley were demonizing the Eldians and how all of this was a result of collectivism are, but that’s not the reason why I am making this thread. Towards the ending, he showed a clip of New York City and that got me to thinking about how while most people agree that what Erin did was a war crime It was low-key justified given how all these countries were banding together to attack a country that didn’t know the existence of people outside of it. Why am I mentioning this? Well it’s cuz a parallel could be made between that and 9/11. I might be wrong but the constants are there; an oppressed/subjected ppl, attacking them without them knowing why, a retaliation, the indignation of being attacked as a superpower, and the constant refusal of ownership of fault. Idk it was just a thought that a crossed my mind.
P.S I’m linking the video but I’m pretty sure it’s a right grifter cuz I remember seeing one were he was saying that the communism displayed in the last of us wasn’t really communism, and there was just like survival tactics or some shit.
