How do you find summer job?

I'm staying in Hartford until the fall and I need to supplement my allowance since it's not cheap to live here. The problem is I'm on a tourist visa and most jobs on Indeed require that you have permanent residency. I tried craigslist too but to no avail. I'm also trans so I feel like its much harder for me to get a job. Please send me any connects you have. Thank you.
