I’ve started up Mass effect again for the billionth time and as I was creating my character I realised how much I enjoyed having the option to give Shepard a multi choice backstory, deciding wether he was born on earth or if he was spacer kid, if he was a lone wolf or if he cared about his team mates etc and it got me thinking… Do you reckon you would of enjoyed the character customisation more of Hogwarts legacy had the same kind of option? For example if we were a pure blood or a muggle born? If we came from a rich family or a poor family? I know some people enjoy when your character has no background so you can roleplay how ever you like but me personally I like to know my character and their past. I especially like the small details in mass effect when characters bring up the past you’ve decided. I could imagine in hogwarts legacy if you picked muggle it could effect the interactions with different students possibly making fun of you compared to if you were a pure blood etc
What’s people’s opinions?
