So in the books, it is clearly stated that there is no counter spell for Avada Kedavra. If it is shot directly at you, spells like protego will not work and the only reason Harry’s spell clashed with Voldemort in GOF was because of the twin cores. In TDH (book version) the reason was because Harry was the true owner of the elder wand and the spell rebounded and killed Voldemort. Okay cool. However with both the Harry Potter and Fantastic beasts movies they ended up showing multiple people clash directly with Avada Kedavra and now so has Hogwarts legacy! You directly clash with Rookwood multiple times during his boss battle? Anyone else think it kinda ruins the vulnerability feeling it was originally meant to have when it was created in the books?
