why don’t they just go ahead and let us play

I mean really…i’m not very educated on video game design but how much “final tweaking” could they be up to within these next two weeks? I’m sure the game is as perfect as it’s gonna get prior to release, and the hype is clearly through the roof! Why can’t they just drop the game early? I’m sure there have been games in the past that have released before they were supposed to.
