What plot points would you cut out from the books?
Post Body

Personally I would remove the Deathly Hallows plot. I think that it weakens the series, by only showing up in the last book, being barely hinted at previously and by creating a lot of confusing plot threads regarding the Elder Wand and the concept of the “Master of Death”.

I also would remove the whole Grawp plot (which I think is a popular opinion). It has no real payoff and only serves to thicken the already too dense OotP.

I found the DH thread annoying bc it left, what felt like, more than one solution to the outcome of the voldemort v harry thing. It unnecessarily convoluted the story and didn't really add much. Regardless of what people say, there's been plenty of people theorizing that maybe he survived bc he had all three DH's. Which is just harming the overall story by making it confusing

I'm referring to when he meets voldemort in the Forrest. I get why he survived. I'm saying the DH thing just made it confusing. Dumbledore even refers to him as "the master of death." There's a common debate that comes up about if the DH is what saved him or was it his blood. It just feels unnecessary
