I definitely agree that people can overthink things way too much. Like, they think they found some little plot hole. But it's usually just to move the story forward.

I had genuine difficulty finishing OoTP. It's wild how different people's tastes can be

Order of the Pheonix was way longer than it had to be. Idk if it's filler or if she wrote into a hole and couldn't get out...not sure. I often found myself, on the first time through, saying outloud "omg please move the story forward."
