In your opinion, what is the best butterfly effect in the books? For example: had Harry not obtained the Half-Blood Princeâs textbook, he wouldnât have won the Felix Felicis, thus he wouldnât have gotten the memory from Slughorn, thus Dumbledore wouldnât have confirmed the existence of Horcruxes, thus Voldemort wouldâve never been defeated. That may not be the best example but thatâs why I want to hear yours: whatâs the smallest thing that happened in the books that caused the biggest outcome? (And Iâm obviously asking beyond, âIf Rowling wasnât born we wouldnât have the books, if Voldemort didnât try to kill Harry thereâd be no story.â)
