We all know that Harry Mack calls balls and strikes. He sees it like it is and spits the truth.
Can the rap game actually handle Harry Mack? Can all of the gangster rappers, the drill rappers, and most especially the wanna be's who are fronting on those violent street styles, handle Harry Mack breaking them down?
I have been thinking about this for years now. It didn't really matter, but now he's blowing up. He's in LA. He's getting recognition. He's touring. He is starting to stack loot.
Does he have enough clout / safety in who he is to tell some "hard core" rappers
"Yeah that gangster shit is cute boo
But I got some things to tell you
..."
And just straight unload on all the frontin and flossin. The having to borrow stacks. Having to have labels rent girls for them. Renting cars that they don't own. Paying for them to get into clubs to shoot videos. Whatever comes to that mind of his.
Or would doing that end up getting him smoked over some petty shit?
I could see it going another way too. Harry being sincerely sympathetic about having to come up on the streets. Having to be hard. Having to perpetuate and glorify violence all the while watching people around you becoming a victim of it. A long ass Harry Mack freestyle about record labels exploiting rappers and glamorizing things that shouldn't be glamorized in pursuit of profit.
Can Harry do that? Or is he beholden to those same labels and those same power structures to get him air time on the radio, etc.?
