Now, before I get the almighty downvote shower for daring to speak of TTG, hear me out. I love the way the show has an amazing blend of serious, violent, bloody action, but mixes it with silly, wacky bullshit all around it. It makes for a great tone.
For example: Bane and his desire for an executive chair. You wouldn't get that in any other iteration of Bane. Also, the joke of him being called Bang by the barista, and then seeing that it was Two Face (I think) behind it. That was hilarious. Another great example of this, back in season 1, was Joker forgetting the Wi-Fi password. Human, relatable, but also absolutely fucking absurd when you consider this is the Joker we are talking about.
Clayface and King Shark. Need I say more.
All in all, I have never seen a show that blends the grit you want from a superhero series, with the comical humor of a children's show. Add in the humor that obviously isn't for children, and you have one hell of a show. So glad I decided to give this show a chance.
Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
