I bought a used Dyna Street Bob back in October and am wondering if I have the 96ci or the 103ci engine.
When I put my VIN into insurance, it came up as the 96ci engine and that's how it's insured. However, my paperwork from the dealership has the 103ci engine circled on a bit of paper they gave me for acquiring insurance. I've done some research, and depending on the source I'm looking at, it shows either 96ci or 103ci, but no indication that the larger engine was an option when the bike was new.
Unfortunately, it's in storage for the winter so I can't pull the codes off of the engine itself to look them up.
Can anyone shed some light onto this for me? Was the 2013 Street Bob available in both 96ci and 103ci? Do I trust the information from insurance based on the VIN or the scratch paper provided by the dealership?
Thanks!
