Need help with handling

I own 3 bikes....2016 Dyna, 1980 bobbed shovelhead and a 98 heritage softail. I love the first two. I bought the heritage because my wife was uncomfortable on the shovel and the dyna. The heritage is stock. It handles like a dump truck. I'm used to nimble bikes and this thing is sluggish, is harder to take a hard corner, more work in curves, etc. any suggestions? Shovel pic to show what I'm used to.
