Maybe Abigail is actually closer to Hannibal than to Will in reality, although Will believes Abigail is closer to him in his mind, and by most people. Hannibal is the man on the phone but also technically the one saved her before killing her. Considering it from Abigail’s perspective, she only talks to Will a few times, but her murder is hidden by Hannibal and her secret is believed to be safe with him. They are both her guardians at that point but Hannibal is the one who is trying to help her, even for his own good, to get away from a murder and being a compliance. While Will cares about her, he is the one who killed her father. Plus the way she’s saying “we couldn’t leave without you”, somehow the more I think about it the more it feels like I’m happy to just leave with Hannibal but he wants you to go with us too.

Also. Previously watching season 2 ending made me sad about why did you gut him when you love him. The older I get and more dating experience I have, the more I feel the pain Hannibal is feeling, possibly, when he realised he was betrayed. Like you were trying to date someone for a few months and things were going great and it seemed like you were really connected. Then tada actually he was just acting to trick you. Gutting someone is a bit impulsive cuz I might just go home and cry for a few days but he’s also a serial killer so 😂
