That’s absolutely understandable. I still write in mine- some are massive leather tomes and there are blank pages a decade later; it’s an interesting type of therapeutic to have my current thoughts and plans on the same pages as words that were near death and worse and never could have conceived of my current existence. Also taking pieces of wretched poetry and turning them into songs with layered meanings.

That was exactly my first thought as well. I still have my journals and it’s so interesting (and sad, and repulsive and gut-wrenching) to flip through and see the changes and know exactly what was happening.
