Brick and Mortar shops?

Post Body

I bought the only type of standard drop spindle at my LYS, and now that I've decided I like spinning, I would love to get a support spindle and/or try out some other spindles instead of only ordering online. I have my eye on a support spindle in particular because I have some angora fur and I think it's the right tool, but also more variable and it would be good to feel out IRL.

I don't expect to find much locally (one of the few things NYC doesn't really seem to have!), but I will be driving up to southern VT in a few weeks. Does anyone know of any stores that carry spindles/fiber in CT, MA, or the southern area of VT? Would be a great way to plan a pit stop on my road trip :)

I will also be in PA/NJ this summer if anyone knows of anything around there.

Comments

The nearest I've found for brick and mortar are yarn fairs, those are all over the country and usually sellers of this world prefer them to a shop limiting the clients to a geographic area.
