steam deck oled or upcoming switch ?

hi ! i assume it’s a pretty common question but i’m very torn about which one to get. i love playing fortnite and i found out that you can’t play it on the steamdeck. however, i also saw that the steam deck performs much better than a switch. i really don’t want anything over 1k CAD so other handhelds are not even an option. which one would you recommend ? i don’t ONLY play fortnite but i would love to be able to play fortnite ðŸ˜
