After discussion with my ENT specialist regarding a new gagging issue I've been having (and a run of Prilosec - I didn't finish the entire Rx, because it had a paradoxial effect on me), she and I are wondering if it's more sensory-based. I'm ADHD, believe I'm autistic, and don't have the best relationship with food. I wouldn't say I have ARFID, but I definitely have sensory issues with food, and cooking takes a lot of mental effort I don't have, so I stick to simple snacks, tv dinners, and (most frequently) takeout.
Does anyone know of a feeding therapist that takes adults? I live in Hampton, but am willing to commute as long as it's on my side of the water.
