Hey all, fridge has been out for about two months now, and I assume this should be a landlord tenant board thing, but I just wanted to see if anyone had experience with a similar situation.
I should explain that I just moved in with a friend recently, who has been here for some time, so most of my understanding of this situation is second hand.
Basically, fridge crapped out through no fault of ours, landlord spent the first month humming and hawing about it, said he needed a repairman to come verify it was broken but claimed he couldn't get someone to come in for ~3 weeks, then agreed it needed to be replaced but said he can't get a replacement in the foreseeable future because they're "hard to get right now".
My roommate handles all the communication, and last night realized our landlord is straight up ignoring his texts. Their last communication was basically the landlord saying "gotta keep waiting, no fridges available."
If anyone has advice, I'd appreciate it, particularly whatever gets us a working fridge the fastest.
