I'm currently building out a HAM radio kit for use in multiple events (emergency or recreational).
I already have a DMR-6X2 and a Toughbook. I'm now planning to get a lightsaver max, a QRP kit, and most likely a digirig. I'm looking for a QRP kit that is general band and can proliferate CW, SSB, and digital modes.
I've seen the TruSDX (https://dl2man.de/) and the MBITX (https://www.hfsignals.com/index.php/ubitx/).
I'm not coming after products like the icom-705 or x6100, as I don't want to spend too much money and I want to be comfortable getting a bit rough with my equipment (accounting for accidents).
Do you have any recommendations?
Edit: I'm also planning on pairing it with an antenna, it's just dependent on the QRP kit that is chosen.
