Looking for advice on getting lower SWR.

Made a bracket for my Yakima overhaul rack. Bracket is made out of steel and grounded to the frame via the white wire shown in above. The antenna is a 20m hamstick, the gray thing behind it is a roof top tent bolted to the rack. Only able to get 1.8 to 1. Hoping for suggestions to get a bit lower SWR. I’ve checked that it’s electronically sound with a multimeter.
