Just binged through all four seasons. I haven't seen anything this terrific in YEARS. Barely even heard the title of this show previously. Just pressed play randomly on Netflix and was instantly sucked in.
Except... Did I misinterpret the big idea in the diner at the end? Was it point of sale systems? That's (1) unsatisfyingly unsexy and (2) silly. Fairly sophisticated restaurant POS was already a thing by mid-90s. What am I missing?
Nonetheless, I loved this. So much.
I saw it criticized as a Mad Men ripoff but it's successful in its execution.
Shit, I might have to watch a second time to see what details I missed...
