I’ve always been a bit confused about what the logic plague is. From the story details, I’ve always thought it was just a super high-level argument/debate/logical discussion that was made from such an immensely vast intelligence that it could mess with an AI’s reasoning.

The way it’s talked about sometimes, though, makes me wonder – was it just the primordial being hyper intelligent and making an argument Mendicant Bias couldn’t refute, or is this a specific ability possessed by the flood, where there’s a specific process or sequence of words/phrases that can convert an AI, and is it spreadable as the word “plague” would suggest?

In other words, is “Logic Plague” a specific contagious ability possessed by the flood that gives them the specific ability to “infect” AI, or is it a misnomer/hyperbole for a few instances of flood just being hyper intelligent and outsmarting/outdebating AI?
