This started as just a comment to another post but i just kept on thinking too much. also it was 5:30 in the morning for me when i wrote this so please excuse my spelling.

i think we will have more playable characters than just locke and chief. i dont want to get ahead of myself but i think sarah palmer is going to be a playable character.

Frankie said that halo 5 will have strong female leads which linda and kelly are going to be if they make it into halo 5. (and im pretty sure they are because of escalation and terminal 15) To define [female lead] would just be a main character that doesnt have to be playable such as cortana who has always been a female lead but never playable just so we are all clear on what a female lead is. 343i seems to have a really big picture of all the lore coming together through escalation and the terminals. they have brought up so much that will be a point of interest in halo 5 like the spirit of fire, didact still alive, jul mdama, new bio weapon, janus key, blue team reunited, halsey now an oni target, terrorist spartans such as Ilsa Zane, and a whole lot more.

I think in the situation that halo 5 would have more playable characters other than just locke and chief, Sarah Palmer and maybe arbiter would be playable. i think arbiter will be more of a friendly a.i like in halo 3 solo but i do like of the idea of different campaign stories and each of them has a 4 person team. it would most likely be blue team for chiefs story. for locke's team i think macer will be one of the spartans because she was hinted to become one in episode 2 but we will find out in 2 weeks from this post...and the 2 others... i dont know.

sarah palmer would have either majestic or crimson. most likely 3 other spartans from majestic but think about it. crimson is the most experinced and best spartan team that we know of. they are better than majestic but there are no solid characters in crimson because the team is meant to be us the player in halo 4. so a really unlikely situation would be our matchmaking spartans being in the caimpagn fighting along side with sarah palmer. and the really big factors of sarah palmer being a playable charcater is the fact that she had one comic series stricly about her. other factors include her being a main character in spartan assault, main character in halo 4 and spartan ops, and main character in escalation.

If Arbiter had his own team it would include Rtas Vadum, N'tho Sraom, and Usze 'Taham. the other two elites i mentioned are the two elites with chief and arbiter when you have 4 players in halo 3 caimpagn. if arbiter does become a playable character with his own 4 person team it could honestly be any other elites. im just giving my opinion if does happen.

Another person that might have his own 4 person team could be gabriel thorne. this is because of his story so far and his emulation of the master chief which is one of his goals because he talks to halsey about the spartan IIs and whether or not she thinks he and the other spartan IVs are capable of being spartans, he had a master chief action figure, and joined army and now is a spartan IV.

Also everyone he loves is dead (as far we know because they are trapped in the composers abyss and could potentally still come back like what we want to happen to cortana being technically not dead. even though cortana was technically never alive but might become human because science or whatever)like how the spartan II were taken away from their families and friends.

i feel like gabriel thorne is a good representation of the halo fan because at one point we have all thought about becoming a spartan like master chief and if we had the oppritunity we would become a 7foot tall alien killer maniac/hero capable of saving everything in the galaxy.

thorne can be as good as spartan II and if he had is own team in halo5 it would include Spartan ray, Spartan grant, and maybe hoya or madsen. but currently thorne IS majestics leader taking demarcos role so it could just be those four excluding demarco because he is dead. and it honestly would work as good in the spartan IV version of blue team. you have thorne/chief-leader madsen/linda-sniper grant/kelly-scout hoya/fred-close quarters because hoya has shotty and fred likes knifes. In conclusion i think that all of this could happen because of the huge scope 343i has for halo 5 with all these things happening at once but then again i think too much. tell me what you guys think
