Why was the UNSCs vehicle selection so poor in the fall of reach?
Post Body

I had the realization that, atleast in the game, the UNSC didnt have a great selection of vehicles. In the US military, they have a large variety of vehicles that can fill specific roles (Humvee/MATV for scouting or light troop transport, Stryker/LAV25 as APCs and light anti-armor, Bradleys as an IFV, and the Abrams as an MBT.) While the UNSC seems to lack most of that. Only warthogs and scorpions, no APCs or IFVs. Even looking at other games, the UNSC seems to just completely lack any vehicle of similar role to an LAV25 or Bradley.

The UNSC also seems to lack artillery, I dont think ive ever seen a mortar or howitzer in halo, only the Kodiak from HW2.

Is there a reason for this, or just an oversight for a video game?
