Alright hear me out. I was talking to a buddy at work about Infinite, and where we go from here with the Endless and we came up with a good theory. Not saying this actually the case, but it’s fun to think about

So the Endless have the ability, to some extent, to manipulate living time. They MAY be precursor, but that’s not too relevant at the moment. We know that Offensive Bias was deployed to help keep them imprisoned on Zeta Halo. With the endless now released, I’m pretty sure we can expect an awkward team-up for Chief with Offensive Bias to take on this threat. Given that they manipulate time, however, my theory is this-

Chief and O.B. have to go back in time to fight the Endless. Like, way back in time, to when the species first made parlay with the Forerunners or even before How they do this, be it hijacking some Endless tech or something, I’m not sure but let’s continue. By going back in time, the Chief together with the Forerunners/Offensive Bias are able to successfully imprison them in the Silent Auditorium. This also helps solidify the choice of the Forerunners to cement humans as the next to take in the mantle. However this creates an infinite loop where this will continually happen. The entire saga playing out again. And perhaps that time loop is the last halo we’ll have to destroy.

Anyways, just a fun theory we cooked up at work. Feel free to poke holes but I thought it was a good time.

Bonus points for making Chief who goes into past the spirit of Offensive Bias somehow.
