I was a bit confused after watching this movie.
.In 2021's Halloween Kills Michael Myers was almost invincible. The entire town beats him up with fists, weapons, some even shoot him with a gun. But it has no effect on Myers. He gets up and kills all of them. This meant that even decades of aging had no effect on Myers. He seemed "immortal". But here he is in 2022(or even if we assume a few years have passed since the previous movie) and Michael is worn out, defeated. He is so weak. Corey can wrestle him and push him to the ground. What happened to him since the last movie? Why did he suddenly become so weak?
.Also why did Laurie not act surprised when Cory took off the halloween Mask? Seemed like she knew she was actually killing Cory. But acted shocked and surprised later when Cory died and her grandaughter caught her.
.Does the ending mean that he is finally dead or will they find a way to make another sequel?
.Why was Michael so sidelined in the movie? I didnt see him for half an hour. I was beginning to wonder if Cory was going to be the new Myers going forward but Cory dies in the movie.
.Seems like they had two different incomplete scripts, one "Corey the slasher" movie and one "Michael myers finally dies" movie and decided to merge them for some reason.
