I'm getting my very dark, very long hair bleached soon, how to minimize damage?
Post Body

I'm getting my hair lightened and dyed blue by a color specialist at the end of the month. It's going to be over several sessions so I don't fry my hair during the lightening process, as I have level 2 hair that needs to be lightened probably to a level 10 or lighter to get the color fade I want. I know this will cause damage, probably a lot of damage, but I just want to know how to help it be as healthy or healthy looking as possible. I know I'll be doing frequent oil treatments, but what's the best oil for this? Coconut is my go to, but is it the most hydrating? Are there any other things I should invest in to keep it happy?

Bonus question: best shampoo and conditioner or routine to maintain the blue for as long as possible? I think I'll be purchasing a shower cap and stocking up on dry shampoo, cause I want to avoid washing it as much as possible to avoid fading and help with dryness.

Thanks in advance :3
