Hey all, so I currently have about 4-5 inch hair on top, and currently letting the sides grow out. Info Guyanese, 24, male, thick wavy hair. I wear a hat most of the time because my line of work can get dirty, so hair health>styling. The girlfriend also enjoys braiding it when my hair is being cooperative through this growth journey, awkward lengths and all.
Currently I’m using castor oil which is a very thick texture I didn’t expect, for the last 4 months. Also been using almond oil for about a year and 4 months I would say. However I do feel it makes my hair drop more. Both of these will be done in the next week or two, and I’m looking to move on to something else to try.
I’m leaning towards carrot. And so far the Hollywood Beauty line is most recommended by people I know personally. It really comes down to oil, or cream. However I am open to anyone else’s recommendations! Here are the two products.
