Is my hair dead or just thin

It was bleached two years ago and has only had brown box dye on it since then. I know right at the end are split because I rarely cut my hair but there are gaps higher up and my curl pattern is super inconsistent. Is it likely dead or do I just have thin hair?

And keep splitting up making it look thinner and appear to stop growing (mines the same)
