Every night when I shower, I put shampoo in and let it sit in my hair while I wash my body. Iโll wash it out, and apply conditioner, which I wash out immediately after. I then blow dry my roots enough to get them lifted, so I can comb them correctly In the morning, I wet my hair, blow dry the roots, and comb it back. I do not use any gel. I have straight hair that has gained some waves from being combed like this all of the time. If I donโt shampoo my hair daily, it feels greasy and takes too long to dry the next morning. The reason I ask is because my family believes that blowdrying daily is not healthy, but itโs a necessary for me since I need the lift it gives.
