Ok so in the last couple of years I've been really trying to grow my hair as long as possible, however I only recently discovered how much care it actually takes to handle it since I've spent half my life with shaved or short boy cuts.
There's no denying it, my ends are extremely thin and dead. I've been manually cutting my split ends hair by hair but never really trimming them all down because I just can't bring myself to cut them. I also use black hair dye (but NEVER bleached or used weird colors, my hair is naturally dark anyway) and I've been using a LOT of oil treatments, delicate shampoos and hair masks... however the ends still look very thin and frail.
Be honest with me, is there really no other way to fix it if not just trimming it all away? Is it normal to have them this thin when growing them very long? Is there any other way I can fix this? Thank you very much
Itβs unavoidable, you need a trim, babes. Itβll look and feel so much better once you do.
