I wash my hair once a week with professional shampoo and conditioner but between hairwashing days I like using more historical haircare methods such as combing my hair every day with a fine tooth comb (I'm aware this is only okay for me because my hair is straight haha).
Using a boar bristle brush that's supposed to help spread oil through you're hair and braiding my hair as a protective hair style as my hair grows out after losing it to a medication side affect, my hair does seem to be very healthy, albeit strangely a lot darker now. I dont know if that's a thing from losing my hair or not washing it every day haha. But I'm curious about these practices and how common theyre used by others who love their hair.
