Men’s hair removal question

So I want to schedule appointments for hair removal of my private area. Pretty much every thing that a pair of boxer briefs cover. The one thing that’s keeping me from scheduling is that I am afraid I’ll get hard while there. I already started going for the rest of my body and it’s not an issue as I am covered up down there. What is the proper etiquette for men getting hair removed down there? Is there anything I can do to prevent getting hard? Please, this is a serious question.
