Hello r/hair!
I don't know if this is the right place to post but I did some reddit-fu and figured it was my best bet. If I was wrong, please direct me to the right place!
Here's the problem:
I have wavy/curly/thick/medium-long hair. I'm multi ethnic (products for African American hair DO NOT work for me) and I've struggled with my hair since birth. I take pretty decent care of it (condition it regularly, use argan/Moroccan oil when I wash it) and it's been ok for a while but now it's turning on me again.
It's dry beyond all belief. It's frizzy like I'm experiencing constant static shock. I used to get yearly keratin treatments which did wonders but I'm not really in the financial situation to do that right now.
My hair needs help!
Any recommendations on products I can purchase and use at home? I'm going to throw out my sulfate shampoos (which I've read will help) but I want to detox/deeply moisturize my hair to kick start it back to health.
I'm getting my hair cut on Wednesday for the first time in about 9 months so hopefully that will help as well.
I can provide pictures of this terribleness if needed, and thank you from the bottom of my frizzy little heart.
