Why does every stylist want to call everything a color correction?

Post Body

Genuine question for stylists. Because as a client and a customer, it feels like a money grab, so just trying to understand/see the other side.

It also seems everyone wants to say “technically I should charge you for a color correction but I won’t” as if they’re trying to imply they’re giving me a “deal”

Rant: I had a lady want to charge me a color correct of $100 an hour because after she color stripped my hair it was bad bleach job underneath and she had to “correct” yet. But here’s the catch, she’s the one who bleached it!!
