So I recently posted about my troubles in beating the game. Only a short time later, I finally did beat it, with Excalibur and doom effects.

About ten runs later, I was set up really well, going into the final boss, with all of my Death Defiance, and and Aspect of Demeter with buffed Special Attack.

So what I intended to do was whack the boss a couple of times, get out of range, and repeat. I'm not very good at the game, so it never goes so smoothly.

What actually happened is that I realized that a slightly buffed Lightning Rod is entirely too OP. I didn't hit the boss once with an Attack or Special Attack after I saw the devastation that was happening by just having three diamonds on the ground. I would just place the diamonds, and then focus on dodging. I still had all three Death Defiance when the boss fell.

Despite the cheese, I was oddly satisfied with the victory. Anyone else grab a win this way? What are your favorite cheesy strats?
