A little question about the lyre prophecy (minor spoilers ahead)

Hi all, I have a question about the fated list of minor prophecy, in particular the "learn to play the lyra" one.
I have the lyra, i play it every time i finish a run and one time orpheus came into my room to teach me. Now, I bought the contract and he's now in asphodel with his lady and i fear i'll never complete it. Can I finally play the lyre or I'm bounded to never learn it?
