Unable to start Dark Nebula

So after I downloaded the game I went to start it and it asked me to update. The link took me to a Play store download of the original Hades Star. I downloaded that thinking there might be dependencies or something but when I start dark nebula again it just asked me to update again. Linking back to the same Play store link for Hades star.

I've cleared the cache and data on my Play store restarted uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times all of the apps and I'm still unable to get dark nebula running.

Am I doing something wrong here?
