Hello everyone, I have a windows 10 computer i am currently trying to crack the password to. I booted it with kali, copied the SAM AND SYSTEM files. But i am unable to extract any hashes, or crack the passwords. If anyone has any experience with any of this can you share some of it? I would love to learn how to do it. I do not want to change the password. I want to CRACK or SEE my old password because that is a password i used for many accounts i cant get into. Like i said if you are familiar with getting hashes and cracking them, with (preferrably) or without kali linux and you can provide a quick step by step guide. Please help. Ive searched everywhere online and cannot find anything.! thanks
