Can I just trap all the refrigerant into the condensing unit of my residential unit.

Curious if i could just trap it in there by tightening down the valve and waiting for the pressure to drop and then tighten down the valve locking it all in the condenser. It would be easier than having to suck it into a cylinder and recharging
