This has been the worst possible thing to happen so far. I just made a serious career change to start working in the HVAC industry. I was working residential install for the past two months & got some good experience under my belt & learned a lot. But the company I worked for apparently hired too many people & have been laying people off now. They haven’t been selling as many units as they anticipated & teaching people was not in the budget anymore.
Every day there has been guys standing around & not getting jobs. I really wanna stay in this industry & learn more of HVAC as I really like this job as a career.
Has anyone else been in this position before with just starting in this industry?
I’m way down on sales this year. My numbers on fixing hack installation has greatly increased. And the DIY repairs have also gone up.
