I am just starting my journey of going to shops & tryna find someone willing to take me on as an apprentice or helper until I can apply for the Union. How long did it take you to get in somewhere?

Less than a few minutes. I was willing to work, and was willing to be a grunt. I carried boilers.

No. I asked for work. And they put me to work that day. I did well and they asked me back. I was paid cash the first few days and I had a job the next week.
