Im talking about that problem where you’ve had to come back multiple times before you finally fixed it.
What was the problem?
3 years, on the same Aaon unit. For starters I was a maintenance guy and was not allowed to touch it due to it being under warranty. I asked on day one what this bundle of wires not hooked to anything was. No one listens. The install company finally gave up and hired “pros”. They changed valves, compressors, and more. After that failed they had the manufacturer send a technician. He replaced the compressor again, and acted like it was fixed. Two months later when the weather changed it had the same issue. Again with someone from Aaon came out I asked about the wiring. Turns out no one had ever connected the control wires and it had been in test mode for three years. Yes I know it should have exited test mode after so many cycles but something was jumped out so it couldn’t.
