Nexstar Questions
Post Body

Sorry yall, not familiar with posts on reddit. Couldn't figure out how to edit the flair.

I'm an in-house CSR/Call Center guy, booking appointments, getting addresses, getting basic information to send along to dispatchers for a company in the upper Midwest. We've had Nexstar as our training videos and a bit of our structuring, but never anything too involved, at least on my end. I'm not sure on our techs' end.

Fairly recently (started in June, shortly after then) our GM moved to a competitor and our HVAC manager got promoted to GM. He started going heavy on Nexstar, to the point that he went down to AZ with all management and did one of the "retreats".

He's pressing more on all members in office to follow Nexstar forms, guidance, one on ones, etc. I'm assuming the same with techs.

I've tried to communicate that this isn't a way my brain works, asked for accommodation and a way we could make the forms work in an alternate way, and been brushed off by my supervisor. Gotten two write ups from a guy whose entire management style is "you might get a raise if you do these, you will get fired if you don't. We want to make sure the right person is in the right seat."

I think I already know the answer, as new GM is riding the Nexstar train hard. But I liked it at the company before this, and we just lost 4 techs. 2ea plmb and HVAC. Should I acknowledge the writing and leave, or do you guys have arguments to bring forth?

Sorry if this breaks rules, be happy to take it down.

Regards,
