Hey guys I’m in my first year of install. I love it so far very challenging work and I feel like I’m excelling past my also rookie coworkers. We obviously aren’t great yet but learning threw mistakes and preventive measures. But there have been things that we haven’t taken great care of. Me personally have fallen threw a ceiling while trying to rope a furnace down. They charged me half and I get that. I joined into this crew and they already had their mess of a truck. Well a couple months in the owners year threw the truck and find all these damaged item. For example apparently somewhere we had 12 flue pipe stashed and damaged. I have no idea where they could of been. I’m the only person that will clean out trash and I have seen flue pipe in there for sure but 12?! They are talking about us paying for everything they found and set up this system of where they take money from our paychecks for as little as the truck not being clean. Meanwhile we are so slow that I made the smallest paycheck of my life last week.
