So I work for a small 4 man company and the owner is a friend. So the issue is I am interviewing at a job outside the union that is unrelated and the interviews have seemed to go really well. Orientation is tonight for school but if I start school than its like $2800 if I don't finish but I also don't want to bank everything on this possible new opportunity. The current job is cutting hours and I am the sole provider for my family of three. The difference in pay is about $5 an hourmind you I am like 4 months in and an Apprentice making $30 an hour. A few other things are my union rep informed me of them trying to not pay overtime benifits for a night job.
I don't want to loose the friendship but I got to think of my family first.
